A Tiny Forest is a super‑dense, fast‑growing native woodland, created from up to 600 native trees planted in an area no bigger than a tennis court. Ours is even octagonal!
These mini-woodlands are mighty: they help tackle climate change, boost biodiversity and can attract up to 500 animal and plant species within the first three years.
This fantastic project has been delivered by our tremendous environmental charity partners, Earthwatch Europe, who are working hard behind the scenes to bring this community‑led woodland to life.
Our friends at Houghton Regis Town Council, Houghton Regis in Bloom, and Central Bedfordshire Council have been helping, too!
It's really a genuine partnership project.
We will post annual updates to show how much our Tiny Forest grows!
